Fastpass+ Enhancements

Fastpass+ Enhancements

Fastpass+ is the best way to avoid long lines on your favorite rides.  Now, the system is getting some great enhancements that will make it even easier to use! Beginning April 10, 2016 Walt Disney World riders will be able to: Choose individual FastPass+ experiences and times, and will no longer need to make all selections for the same day at the same time. Book fewer than three selections, if desired.  Riders will still be able to make up to three initial selections, but this is no longer mandatory. Modify Fastpass+ selections in the My Disney Experience mobile app, including changing party members. Make an additional FastPass+ selection via the My Disney Experience mobile app, in addition to in-park kiosks.  After the initial 3 selections have been used, you will be able to make a 4th through the app, use this Fastpass+, and continue to make additional selections after each is used. All of these great enhancements will continue to be included at no extra charge with theme park admission.  Guests staying on property will continue to be able to make selections 60 days in advance.  Visitors staying off-site will be able to make their selections 30 days in advance....

I know what you are thinking, “Ben there is no way you can narrow that list down to just 5.”  Well, when I started working on this list I probably would have agreed with you.  In fact, I considered doing a Top 5 for each park, or a Top 5 for rides over 38”, or even a top 10.  The fact is, there are so many variables that influence which rides will be the best fit for your family.  Add to that the fact that Disney is constantly evolving and it can be like shooting at a moving target.  With that said, I still feel there are a few select rides that almost every visitor to Walt Disney World can and will want to ride.  These are rides that are accessible to almost everyone, have universal appeal, and build up long lines almost as soon as the parks open. It won’t be an easy task, but I believe we have a great list of 5 rides you don’t want to miss.  With each ride we will cover the essential facts and I will lay out my case for why that ride deserves your Fastpass+ vote. Before we get into each ride though, it is important to note, you need to be...
